At Auto-Gear Automatic Driving School we are passionate about using our knowledge and experience to teach people how to pass their driving test and to develop their abilities, knowledge and mental attitude to driving and to become safe and responsible drivers on today’s busy roads. We are particularly keen to teach new drivers as we believe that good practice and habits start the very first time they sit behind the wheel.
In our automatic car our instructors create a relaxed, friendly and stress-free environment in which to learn. We believe that learning to drive should be a fun and enjoyable experience and we adopt a pace and style that our students are comfortable with at an early stage. By encouraging our students to make their own assessment and decisions on how to deal safely with road hazards, we believe will ultimately lead to a faster rate of development and skill acquisition.
AUTOMATIC Teaching Specialists
Auto-Gears Automatic Driving School has experienced local driving instructors who will offer you a range of automatic driving lessons which meet the needs of a variety of pupils. We will prepare you for your driving test, using DSA’s recommended teaching methods and will ensure you progress quickly and effectively using structured learning methods. At every lesson our pupils' progress is recorded on progress cards to ensure their driving skills and development is kept up-to-date.
Automatic cars differ from manual cars in that the driver does not need to change the gears whilst depressing the clutch pedal as with manual cars. The automatic gear box changes the gears automatically when necessary, hence making driving an easier experience.
Some learners simply find changing gears and using the clutch pedal difficult. This therefore makes automatic car driving a popular choice for those learners. It is also suitable for learners with some restricting difficulties, or for more elderly learners it is the perfect choice.
It may be that a learner of necessity needs to drive in a very short period of time and therefore obtaining a full automatic licence in order to get themselves on the road is vital.
